Introduction

RPI Planner allows students at RPI to design custom plans of study that incorporate multiple degrees, study abroad, and cooperative education while staying within graduation requirements. It works as a complement to RPI Scheduler, scheduling classes between semesters while RPI Scheduler schedules classes within semesters.

RPI Planner is currently in beta stage, with a 1.0 release coming in early 2009. You can use it, but be aware that things may change between now and 1.0 that will break your plan of study. You may have to throw out all of your work and start over. If you're willing to take that risk, please help out by trying it out!

Contributing

Funded by the Rensselaer Center for Open Source (RCOS), RPI Planner is an open-source project written by students at RPI. It is by no means a finished product, and there are many opportunities to contribute. The source code is available on github.com, and you can provide feedback and suggestions at UserVoice.com.
